KCL Anatomy Society is honoured to present “Sir James Paget : Bicentenary Anniversary of the Birth of a Great Surgeon” a talk by Professor Harold Ellis CBE FRCS MCh.
As patron of our society, Professor Ellis has delivered some fascinating and refreshing talks throughout the year, and we are sure that this will be another exciting talk for all our members.
Professor Ellis is one of the most notable British surgeons of the past fifty years, renowned for both his inspirational teaching at the Department of Anatomy & Human Sciences at King’s and his dedication to the NHS since its foundation. He is also the author of the definitive textbook of Clinical Anatomy which is currently in its thirteenth edition.
An Emeritus Professor of Surgery in the University of London, Prof. Ellis has held positions as Vice-President of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and of the Royal Society of Medicine and was president of the British Association of Surgical Oncology.
