KCL Anatomy Society is honoured to kick-start the year with “Famous Operations”, a talk by none other than Professor Harold Ellis CBE FRCS MCh.
As patron of our society, Professor Ellis plans to deliver some fascinating and refreshing talks throughout the year, and we’re sure that this will be an exciting talk for all our members.
Professor Ellis is one of the most notable British surgeons of the past fifty years, renowned for both his inspirational teaching at the Department of Anatomy & Human Sciences at King’s and his dedication to the NHS since its foundation. He is also the author of the definitive textbook of Clinical Anatomy which is currently in its thirteenth edition.
An Emeritus Professor of Surgery in the University of London, Prof. Ellis has held positions as Vice-President of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and of the Royal Society of Medicine and was president of the British Association of Surgical Oncology.
The talk will be held on Thursday the 13th of October, at 6:00pm in the Gordon Museum. The Museum is in the Hodgkin Building on Guy’s Campus.
There will be a food and wine reception afterwards so please join us for what promises to be a great night!
